The Balan Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG – Mappale 1106 is a premium sparkling wine crafted from 100% Glera grapes grown in steep, high-altitude vineyards (up to 470 meters above sea level) in the heart of Valdobbiadene. This wine pays homage to its rugged terroir, symbolized by the image of a goat on the label, reflecting the wild fauna of the region.
Made using a traditional method (with elements of ancestral or sur lie style), the wine undergoes natural bottle fermentation with minimal intervention and no filtration. Grapes are hand-harvested and cold-crushed to preserve their aromatic purity. Fermentation is completed in the bottle, allowing for subtle lees aging and added complexity.
