Château Carbonneau La Verrière Blanc 2021 is an elegant white wine from the Sainte-Foy-Bordeaux appellation in southwest France. Named after the estate’s splendid Napoleon III conservatory, this wine reflects the château’s dedication to quality and tradition.
Winemaking Process: Cold maceration for 3 days to extract fruit and spices from the skins before fermentation. The grapes are destemed and crushed. The wild yeast fermentation is carried out at low temperature (16°C). The lies are stirred for 30 days to add body and complexity. Aged for 1 year in demi-muids.

Accolades: The 2021 vintage was awarded one star by Le Guide Hachette des Vins in 2024, recognizing its exceptional quality.
James Suckling: 90 points, praising its vibrant citrus and tropical fruit profile, elegant structure, and refined acidity.
Tasting Notes: The wine appearance is a brilliant yellow with gray highlights. With aroma of an expressive nose featuring grapefruit, Granny Smith apple, passion fruit, and a distinct minerality. Tangy and juicy with dominant citrus flavors; the finish is long and refreshing in the Palate.
Food Pairing: Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs wonderfully with dishes like fillet of Saint Pierre in cream, grilled squid, or Marennes d’Oléron oysters.
