Rosebank 1992 Single Malt Scotch Whisky SPECIAL RELEASES 2014 21 YEAR OLD 55.3%ABV

S$2,998.00

This 1992 vintage and was some of the last whisky to be produced at the distillery which closed in early 1993. This 2014 Special Release of Rosebank aged exclusively in refill American oak, is richer, fruitier than the 2011 release and is far more complex. Full flavoured with natural high strength of 55.3%, it opens up with a few drop of water giving a full mouthfeel and a very long finish. Very much a collectors item.

A Diageo Special Release of Rosebank single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1992, a year before the Lowlands distillery closed. Matured in refill American oak casks and bottled for the 2014 Special Releases with an outturn of 4,530 bottles.

Triple distilled, this non-chilled filtered 21 year was one of only 4,530 cask strength (55.3% ABV) units bottled in 2014 and is highly coveted today.  Described by many whisky critics as the “King of the Lowlands” and “a Lowland Whisky that ranks amongst the best Speyside & Highland Malts”.  Bottles individually numbered which makes for a great momento and relic of a golden age.  A perfect gift for whisky aficionados and collectors.  Currently being snapped up worldwide as prices have escalated.
