The Edens Road Vineyard is situated 12km from the coast and is bordered by the Wairoa River. The ‘soil’ is a combination of rocks and boulders, which is very hard on the farm equipment, but vital for holding the warmth of Nelson’s sun and for ripening grapes.

Seifried’s family owned vineyard and winery was the first to be established in one of the sunniest areas of New Zealand in 1973.
