Accessible and pleasing, this Chianti, repeatedly awarded and produced organically, is made from Sangiovese grapes blended with a refined mixture of Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Syrah. Ruby red with violet reflections in the glass, it offers aromas of chocolate, cherry, and plum, along with hints of smoke, jam, almonds, and vanilla. On the palate, it’s immediately present with a lovely blend of red fruits, followed by chocolate, vanilla, a touch of caramel, and a hint of white pepper. Wonderfully soft and velvety finish. A palate pleaser!
