Bottled annually, from a single cask, at cask strength, this is the world’s only Sloe Gin Barrel finished Single Malt Whisky.
This whisky was initially aged in small, virgin French and Bulgarian oak barrels for over five years before spending the last 12 months in a barrel previously used for making our award-winning Pinot Barrel Sloe Gin liqueur.
63.7% ABV, 70cl
The nose exhibits notes of icing sugar, vanilla, raspberries, marzipan and stewed plums over toffee and malt. The palate is rich and mouth-filling with plum,, toffee and malt. The finish is long and reminiscent of dark cocoa and red berries. There are only around 450 bottles in this release.
