Old Particular Glenallachie 12 Years Sherry Single Cask Single Malt Whisky – Speyside Scotland


Single cask Glenallachie single malt, independently bottled by Douglas Laing as part of the Old Particular range. This was aged for 12 years in a sherry butt, from March 2005 to December 2017, before being bottled with an outturn of only 243 bottles.

NOSE: Catch the Sherry history with macerated dark fruits, sugars and spices. PALATE: Big and punchy as the nose, plus pepper, Malt and gentle tobacco FINISH: Detect molasses, raisins and a now drier, cooler, minty backdrop.
