From the Benrinnes distillery comes another cracking effort from Douglas Laing’s superb Provenance range. This Benrinnes 12 Year Old was distilled in July 2004, aged for 12 years and bottled in May 2017, with no additional colouring or chill-filtration. 180 bottles were produced.
NOSE: Demerara sugar dusts light vanilla bean and toffee apples.
PALATE: Juicy orchard fruits layered in honey spark to life with emerging pepper and nutmeg.
FINISH: Strong spices temper a sudden surge of buttery sweetness and some herbal notes.
ABV: 46%, 700ml

Douglas Laing’s Provenance Single Malts are bottled exactly as the distiller intended – without colouring or chill-filtration; enabling the naturally present oils, fats and enzymes in the Whisky to make their own special contribution to the nose, mouthfeel, palate and finish.
