Caol Ila 10 opens with a burst of Islay character – streaky bacon and peated barley. The palate delivers more of that smokiness – bonfire ash and charred oak alongside an earthy yet sugary sweet style. Long finish with cured meats, washed up seaweed and damp leather.

Nose: Allspice and fruit salad give way to milk chocolate and rich cereal.
Palate: Fulsome and creamy with buttered pancakes, maple syrup and warming cinnamon.
Finish: Lingering stewed fruit alongside charred oak and juicy raisins.
