24 year old single malt Scotch whisky from a very renowned distillery in the Speyside region, bottled at the distillery for Douglas Laing. Old style whisky not commonly experienced with current bottlings. Like walking into an old library with leather-bound books, musky wood furniture, coffee grains, dried fruit and loads of tertiary flavours and an extremely long finish. Very complex!
NOSE: Old dense, rich woody, leathery complexed tertiary aromas.
PALATE: Mouth coatingly macerated raisins, figs, dates and loads of coffee & wood yet well balanced with rich juicy fruit.
FINISH: From the palate runs to a long and warmingly spiced finish, honey'd plus more raisins with an extremely long balanced finish.
ABV: 46%, 700ml
