Champagne Gonet Sulcova Rose Sakura
The Cuvée Sakura Rosé Extra Brut is a refined Champagne from the Gonet Sulcova estate, crafted primarily from 93% Chardonnay and 7% Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the Aube region. This cuvée is notable for its low dosage of 2–3 g/L, highlighting its natural freshness and purity. The winemaking process includes pellicular maceration to extract color and flavors, followed by fermentation in thermo-regulated vats and malolactic fermentation. Aged in traditional chalk cellars 12 meters underground, this Champagne offers a delicate balance of fruitiness and minerality. It has received accolades such as the Gold Medal at the Concours Mondial des Féminalise 2024 and a Silver Medal at the 2024 International Wine Challenge with 91 points.
