Harvesting of this wine is done manually, in whole bunches, from vines that are over 10 years old. The winemaking process involved pressing, temperature control, alcoholic fermentation, and juice racking – incorporating stainless steel tanks. Light rose petal color. Aromas of peach, lychee and citrus. Soft on the palate, with medium acidity. Full, but refreshing – with a touch of sweetness and hints of lemon zest.
Brilliant appearance with a lovely rose colour. Intense and fine white fruit aromas of peach livened up with notes of citrus fruits. Enticing in the mouth, tender, generous with an incredible freshness and a round finish. Ideal as an aperitif, with an antipasti, or a pie. We recommend tasting this wine at 8-10 °C.
About Les Vins Georges Duboeuf
Les Vins Georges Duboeuf was established in 1964, and is one of the largest and best-known wine merchants in France. The founder, Georges Duboeuf himself is almost single-handedly responsible for popularizing the annual Beaujolais Nouveau phenomenon.
What is not commonly known is that Georges created a group of producers, “L’Ecrin Maconnais-Beaujolais”, that represented over 40 winemakers from all appellations of the region.
This allowed him to offer wines that reflected the great diversity of the surrounding vineyards.
