Gran Bassano Bianco is a vermouth based on Vespaiolo, white wine from native grapes of the DOC of which the city of Bassano is part.

Vespaiolo features characteristic floral scents that attract the wasps (vespa), from which it is named. The beautifully aromatic native Vespaiolo grape base perfectly complements and brings out the fresh flavours from Poli’s masterly infusion of over 20 selected botanicals, including hawthorn and elderflower native to the Bassano region, as well as grapefruit, galangal, myrtle, sweet and bitter orange. A luscious white vermouth that is both delightful on its own and a vibrant addition to your favourite cocktails.

About Poli Distillerie

This family business started back in 1898 when door to door distilling of pomace – the used skins of pressed grapes – in a small still was carried out on a cart. Poli is now commissioned by the likes of prestigious wine producers such as Sassicaia to convert their pomace to high grade grappa. The Poli distillery uses an innovative double boiler vacuum still known as “Cryospea”.
