Syndicate 58/6 could very easily be the name of an action thriller with a star-studded cast, but in reality it’s a fantastic 12 year old blended Scotch whisky with quite a story behind it.

All the way back in 1958, a rare blend of Scotch malt and grain whiskies was found in 10 casks in a warehouse owned by William Muir Bond 9 Limited. Having been distilled in 1954 and made to a recipe that dates back to the 1800s which was enjoyed by royalty, it’s safe to say it was quite a good find indeed.

One of the most balanced whiskies around. From a solera dating back to 1958 with nothing less than 12 years. This is a well rounded and very flavourful whisky with many award to its credit. Small production combining the top Malts from Scotland.

SYNDICATE 58/6 contains 18 Single Malt Whiskies and 4 Signle Grain Whiskies. The quality and consistency of the spirit has been maintained over the years by operating a ‘Solera’ system whereby when additional 12 year Old Whiskies are added they are then reblended witht the older stock. Thus the Syndicate whisky still contains small quantities of much older whiskies.
